Party Time!

Last weekend, Todd and I were invited to a costume party. The theme was Mexican/Awesome and Todd and I pulled off both! : )

Staying with the Mexican theme, we dressed as calacas (as depicted in the Mexican celebration of “Dia de los Muertos” (Day of the Dead)).

Todd found his hat and cane at a thrift store and I also found my lace at a thrift store and made my flowers from some fabric I already had. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to find face paint here, apparently it's a very common thing to have at parties. The party was fun and we even got to try our turn at hitting a homemade piñata!
